Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The winter monsoon affecting the south China coast is moderating gradually. Locally, temperatures over the territory in the afternoon were generally 2 to 3 degrees higher than those of yesterday. Meanwhile, a band of clouds covering the northern part of the South China Sea is edging closer to the coast of Guangdong.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Mainly cloudy. One or two light rain patches tomorrow. The minimum temperature will be about 14 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories. The maximum temperature will be around 17 degrees. Moderate east to northeasterly winds, fresh at first.

Outlook : Milder on Saturday. Cold in the mornings on Sunday and Monday.
