Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The winter monsoon is bringing cold and dry weather to southern China.

At 10 a.m., Tropical Depression Sanba was centred about 1400 kilometres southeast of Manila. It is forecast to move west-northwest at about 25 kilometres per hour towards the southern part of the Philippines.

Weather forecast for today

Fine and dry. Cold in the morning. Moderate north to northeasterly winds, fresh at times.

Outlook : Temperatures will rise progressively midweek this week. The weather will become humid and foggy and persist to the Lunar New Year.
