Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The winter monsoon is bringing dry weather to southern China. Locally, the relative humidity over parts of the territory was below 50 per cent in the afternoon.

At 4 p.m., Tropical Depression Sanba was centred about 1290 kilometres southeast of Manila. It is forecast to move west-northwest at about 25 kilometres per hour towards the southern part of the Philippines.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Fine and dry. The minimum temperature in the morning will be about 13 degrees in the urban areas, and a few degrees lower in the New Territories. The maximum temperature will be around 18 degrees during the day. Moderate east to northeasterly winds, fresh at times.

Outlook : Temperatures rising progressively in the following couple of days. The weather will be mild and humid with fog over the Lunar New Year holidays.
