Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A weak ridge of high pressure covered the coast of southeastern China yesterday. Locally, it was mainly cloudy. There were sunny periods during the day. A southerly airstream is expected to bring hot weather to Guangdong in the next couple of days.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Thursday, 12 Apr 2018)

Mainly cloudy. Isolated showers in the morning. The minimum temperature will be about 24 degrees. Hot with sunny periods during the day. The maximum temperature will be around 29 degrees. Moderate south to southeasterly winds.

Outlook : Hot with sunny periods in the following couple of days. Temperatures falling on Sunday. More showers early next week and there will be thunderstorms.
