Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A fresh to strong easterly airstream is affecting the coast of Guangdong. Meanwhile, a broad area of low pressure is bringing unsettled weather to the northern and central parts of the South China Sea. Besides, Tropical Storm Gaemi over the seas south of Japan has evolved into an extratropical cyclone.

Weather forecast for today

Mainly fine. Becoming cloudy with a few showers. There will be isolated thunderstorms later. The maximum temperature will be about 30 degrees. Moderate to fresh east to northeasterly winds, occasionally strong offshore.

Outlook : The weather will be unsettled with occasional showers tomorrow. Hot with sunny periods in the middle and latter parts of this week.
