Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The northeast monsoon is affecting southern China.

At 8 p.m., Severe Typhoon Trami was centred about 180 kilometres north-northeast of Okinawa. It is forecast to move northeast at about 40 kilometres per hour across the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Mainly fine and dry. The minimum temperature will be about 24 degrees overnight. The maximum temperature will be about 31 degrees tomorrow. Moderate north to northeasterly winds.

Outlook : Mainly fine in the following couple of days. Isolated showers in the morning on National Day holiday.

Strong winds in Nan'ao and Shanwei.

Weather Situation:
The northeast monsoon is affecting the south China coastal waters.

At 7 p.m., Severe Typhoon Trami with maximum sustained winds of about 155 kilometres per hour near its centre was located near 27.6 degrees north, 128.2 degrees east. It is forecast to move northeast at about 40 kilometres per hour across the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands.

Moderate seas.

Nan'ao and Shanwei:
North to northeast force 5 to 6.
Moderate to rough seas.
