Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The northeast monsoon is bringing fine and dry weather to Guangdong. Locally, the relative humidity over the territory generally fell to 40 per cent or below around noon.

At noon, Typhoon Kong-rey was centred about 520 kilometres south of Jeju. It is forecast to move north at about 30 kilometres per hour across the East China Sea towards the vicinity of the southern part of the Korean Peninsula.

Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight

Sunny and very dry. Moderate northerly winds, occasionally fresh.

Outlook : Remaining fine and very dry tomorrow. Sunny periods in the following couple of days. Slightly cooler over the middle and latter parts of next week.

Weather Situation:
The northeast monsoon is affecting the south China coastal waters.

At noon, Typhoon Kong-rey with maximum sustained winds of about 120 kilometres per hour near its centre was located near 28.9 degrees north, 125.5 degrees east. It is forecast to move north at about 30 kilometres per hour across the East China Sea towards the vicinity of the southern part of the Korean Peninsula.
