Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A cold front moved across the coastal areas of Guangdong in the afternoon today. Locally, there were sunny intervals at first. However, under the influence of the heavy showers associated with the cold front in the afternoon, more than 20 millimetres of rainfall were recorded over many places, and rainfall even exceeded 40 millimetres in the urban areas and Shek Kong. The northeast monsoon is expected to bring slightly cooler weather to the south China coast in the next couple of days.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Thursday, 11 Oct 2018)

Cloudy and slightly cooler with a few rain patches. Temperatures will range between 22 and 25 degrees. Moderate north to northeasterly winds, fresh offshore.

Outlook : Slightly cooler in the morning and at night on Friday. Sunny intervals over the weekend.
