Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The northeast monsoon is affecting the south China coast. Meanwhile, a broad band of clouds is bringing rainy weather to the region. Locally, a few millimetres of rainfall were generally recorded over the territory this morning, and rainfall even exceeded 10 millimetres over New Territories West and Lantau Island.

Weather forecast for today

Cloudy with a few rain patches. Slightly cooler in the morning. The maximum temperature will be about 25 degrees in the afternoon. Moderate to fresh northeasterly winds, strengthening from the east later.

Outlook : Windy and there will still be a few rain patches tomorrow. The weather will improve during the weekend.
