SITUATION
At 1200 UTC Tropical Cyclone Tiffany was centred within 20 nautical miles of
 latitude thirteen decimal nine south (13.9S)
 longitude one hundred and forty five decimal nine east (145.9E)
Recent movement : west at 8 knots
Maximum winds   : 50 knots
Central pressure: 990 hPa

AREA AFFECTED
Within 50 nautical miles of the centre.

FORECAST
Maximum winds to 50 knots near the centre.

Winds above 48 knots within 15 nautical miles of centre with very rough seas
and moderate swell.
Winds above 34 knots within 50 nautical miles of centre with rough seas and
moderate swell.

Forecast positions
At 0000 UTC 10 January: Within 55 nautical miles of 14.1 south 144.8 east
                        Central pressure 989 hPa.
