GALE WARNING

Please be aware, wind gusts can be a further 40 percent stronger than the
averages given here, and maximum waves may be up to twice the height.

SITUATION
At 1200 UTC Ex-Tropical Cyclone Anika was centred within 20 nautical miles of
 latitude fourteen decimal seven south (14.7S)
 longitude one hundred and twenty six decimal two east (126.2E) [over land]
Recent movement : southwest at 4 knots
Maximum winds   : 35 knots
Central pressure: 995 hPa
The system is expected to re-develop into a tropical cyclone when it moves over
water in the next 24 to 36 hours.

AREA AFFECTED
Within 60 nautical miles in NW quadrant.

FORECAST
Maximum winds to 35 knots near the centre increasing to 40 knots by 1200 UTC 28
February.

Winds above 34 knots within within 60 nautical miles in NW quadrant, extending
to 70 nautical miles in the NW quadrant and 40 nautical miles in the NE
quadrant by 1200 UTC 28 February, with rough seas and moderate swell.
 
Forecast positions
At 0000 UTC 28 February: Within 50 nautical miles of 15.0 south 125.4 east
[over land]
                        Central pressure 996 hPa.
                        Winds to 35 knots [over water].
At 1200 UTC 28 February: Within 60 nautical miles of 15.5 south 124.6 east
[over land]
                        Central pressure 993 hPa.
                        Winds to 40 knots [over water].
