At 10 a.m. at the Hong Kong Observatory the air temperature was 27 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity 95 per cent.
During the past hour the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park was 2. The intensity of UV radiation was low.
An area of thundery showers associated with a trough of low presuure is affecting the Pearl River Estuary. Locally, showers in the morning brought more than 20 millimetres of rainfall to Cheung Chau and Peng Chau. Members of the public should stay alert.
