At 9 p.m. at the Hong Kong Observatory the air temperature was 33 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity 53 per cent.
Tropical Cyclone Megi will cross Taiwan Strait overnight and make landfall over the vicinity of Fujian tomorrow morning. It will then move inland and weaken rapidly. Local winds is expected to be fresh, occasionally strong on high ground. The Observatory will continue to closely monitor any change of the track of Megi and its effect on local weather.
