At 4 a.m. at the Hong Kong Observatory the air temperature was 25 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity 92 per cent.
Bands of intense thundery showers now to the south of Hong Kong are gradually edging towards the coastal areas. It may affect Hong Kong in the next couple of hours. Members of the public should be on the alert.
