At 9 a.m. at the Hong Kong Observatory the air temperature was 26 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity 97 per cent.
During the past hour the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park was 0.6. The intensity of UV radiation was low.
Areas of thundery showers associated with a broad trough of low pressure will affect Hong Kong in the next couple of hours. Members of the public should be on the alert.
