Weather Information for South China Coastal Waters

At 1 p.m. at the Hong Kong Observatory the air temperature was 32 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity 65 per cent.
During the past hour the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park was 9. The intensity of UV radiation was very high.
The tropical storm over the northern part of the South China Sea will continue to interact with Nesat to the east of Taiwan. The tropical storm will linger around the northern part of the South China Sea today, and will move northeast towards the vicinity of Taiwan Strait on Sunday. Nesat will track across Taiwan today and move inland of southeastern China on Sunday. Both tropical cyclones will keep a distance from Hong Kong today and their threat to Hong Kong is not high. The Observatory will monitor closely their future evolution.
