Weather Information for South China Coastal Waters

At 6 p.m. at the Hong Kong Observatory the air temperature was 33 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity 71 per cent.
During the past hour the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park was 0.6. The intensity of UV radiation was low.
Haitang over the northern part of the South China Sea is expected to move northeast and will come close to the vicinity of Taiwan Strait during the day on Sunday. Nesat will move inland of southeastern China on Sunday. Both tropical cyclones will continue to keep a distance from Hong Kong and their threat to Hong Kong is not high. The Observatory will monitor closely their future evolution.
