A trace of rainfall was recorded at the Hong Kong Observatory between midnight last night and midday today. 489.1 mm of rainfall have been recorded at the Hong Kong Observatory in August this year. The accumulated rainfall since 1st January up to the end of August this year was 2248.9 mm compared with the normal of 1905.5 mm for the same period.
