Bulletin issued at 18:02 HKT 11/Nov/2017
At 6 p.m. at the Hong Kong Observatory the air temperature was 24 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity 80 per cent.
During the past hour the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park was 0.0. The intensity of UV radiation was low.
The northeast monsoon will continue to affect the coast of southeastern China in the next couple of days. Meanwhile, Tropical Cyclone Haikui will move across the central part of the South China Sea and weaken gradually. Since the circulation of Haikui is relatively small and it will maintain a distance of more than about 500 km from Hong Kong according to the current forecast track, its threat to Hong Kong is not high. Under the combined effect of the monsoon and Haikui, local weather will be windy with rough seas on Sunday and Monday. It will also be cloudy with a few rain patches. Members of the public engaging in outdoor and water sports activities should take note of the weather changes.
