Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The winter monsoon affecting southern China is moderating gradually. Locally, the relative humidity over most parts of the territory stayed below 40 per cent in the afternoon.

At 4 p.m., Tropical Storm Tembin was centred about 1060 kilometres southeast of Manila. It is forecast to move west at about 18 kilometres per hour towards the southern part of the Philippines and intensify gradually.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

It will be dry. Cloudy periods overnight. Cool tomorrow morning with a minimum temperature of about 15 degrees in the urban areas, and a few degrees lower in the New Territories. Mainly fine during the day with a maximum temperature of about 18 degrees. Moderate to fresh easterly winds, occasionally strong offshore overnight.

Outlook : Temperatures continue to rise on Saturday. Mainly fine and cool in the morning and at night during Christmas Holidays.
