Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A relatively dry easterly airstream affected the coast of Guangdong today. Locally, it was cool this morning. The weather was fine and dry during the day. The relative humidity over the territory fell to 50 per cent or below. A replenishment of the northeast monsoon will bring generally fine and dry weather with cool mornings to southern China during Christmas Holidays.

Besides, Tembin intensified from a tropical storm into a severe tropical storm today. At 11 p.m., Tembin was centred about 740 kilometres south of Manila. It is forecast to move west at about 20 kilometres per hour across the southern part of the Philippines.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Saturday, 23 Dec 2017)

Mainly cloudy. Sunny periods during the day. Temperatures will range between 17 and 20 degrees. Moderate east to northeasterly winds.

Outlook : Mainly fine with cool mornings during Christmas Holidays.
