Local winds are light and there is haze in the afternoon. Visibility in some areas stayed below 3000 metres. Besides, an easterly airstream is affecting the coast of Guangdong gradually.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Cloudy periods with relatively low visibility tonight and tomorrow morning. Mainly fine during the day tomorrow. Temperatures will range between 16 and 22 degrees. Light winds, becoming moderate to fresh easterly winds tomorrow.

Outlook : Windier in the following couple of days. The weather will be cooler in the latter part of this week, turning cold early next week.

    Tropical Cyclone Warning

    At 040600 UTC, Tropical Depression Bolaven (1801) has weakened into an area of low pressure.

    No further warnings on this area of low pressure will be issued by the Hong Kong Observatory unless regeneration takes place.



    The Hong Kong Observatory's tropical cyclone warnings for shipping are issued about one and a half hours after the time of observation. They incorporate additional information derived from surface and upper-air data and may therefore be slightly different from the real-time satellite or radar-based positions given in the hourly bulletins for public.

    While the forecast positions and track indicate the most likely future path of the tropical cyclone, they may deviate from the actual path taken by the storm.
