At 10 a.m. at the Hong Kong Observatory the air temperature was 23 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity 91 per cent.
During the past hour the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park was 0.5. The intensity of UV radiation was low.
An area of thundery showers associated with an upper-air disturbance is now affecting the waters to the south of Lantau Island. It may affect Hong Kong in the next couple of hours. Members of the public should be on the alert.
