Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

Under the influence of an intense northeast monsoon associated with the cold front, it will become cold appreciably with rain over the south China coastal areas. Locally, temperatures over the territory were generally two to four degrees lower than those of yesterday.

Weather forecast for today

It will be cool. Temperatures will linger about 16 degrees in the urban areas. They will further drop to a minimum of around 13 degrees, and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories. Mainly cloudy with a few rain patches. Isolated thunderstorms in the morning. Fresh northerly winds, occasionally strong offshore.

Outlook : Fine and dry in the next few days. Cold morning on Friday.
