Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A cold front moved across the coast of Guangdong this morning. Under the influence the associated northeast monsoon, temperatures in Hong Hong fell appreciably today, and it was cloudy with occasional rain. Temperatures generally fell to around 13 degrees. More than 10 millimetres of rainfall were recorded over most parts of the territory today. The northeast monsoon is expected to bring cold weather to the south China coast tomorrow. Under the influence of a dry continental airstream, it will become fine over the region in the next couple of days.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Friday, 9 Mar 2018)

Cold with cloudy periods in the morning. The minimum temperature will be about 11 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories. Fine and dry during the day with a maximum temperature of around 18 degrees. Moderate to fresh north to northeasterly winds, occasionally strong offshore at first.

Outlook : Fine and dry during the weekend with relatively large temperature difference between day and night. Temperatures and humidity will rise gradually early next week.
