Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

An anticyclone aloft continued to bring mainly fine weather to the coast of southeastern China yesterday. Locally, there were sunny periods, isolated showers and thunderstorms. It was very hot in the afternoon. Temperatures over most parts of the territory rose to 33 degrees or above. Under the dominance of an anticyclone aloft, it will remain very hot over Guangdong in the next couple of days. Meanwhile, a southwesterly airstream will bring a few showers to the coastal areas.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong

Mainly cloudy with isolated showers. The minimum temperature will be about 28 degrees. Very hot with sunny periods during the day. The maximum temperature will be around 33 degrees. Moderate southwesterly winds.

Outlook : Very hot weather will persist and there will be isolated showers in the following couple of days.
