Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A strong easterly airstream affected the south China coast yesterday. Meanwhile, a broad trough of low pressure brought thundery showers to the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. Locally, it was cloudy with showers and a few squally thunderstorms. Showers were heavy at times. More than 40 millimetres of rainfall were recorded over most parts of the territory. The broad trough of low pressure will continue to bring thundery showers to the south China coast today.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Sunday, 15 Jul 2018)

Cloudy with showers and a few squally thunderstorms. Temperatures will range between 25 and 29 degrees. Fresh east to southeasterly winds, strong offshore and on high ground.

Outlook : Weather improving gradually in the following couple of days.
