Showers are affecting the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea.

At 10 a.m., Severe Typhoon Soulik was centred about 830 kilometres southeast of Kagoshima. It is forecast to move west-northwest at about 20 kilometres per hour across the western North Pacific.

Mainly cloudy with occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms. Light winds.
