Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A broad trough of low pressure is bringing showers to the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea.

At noon, Severe Typhoon Soulik was centred about 800 kilometres southeast of Kagoshima. It is forecast to move west-northwest at about 20 kilometres per hour across the western North Pacific.

Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight

Mainly cloudy with occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms. Visibility relatively low in some areas at first. Light winds.

Outlook : Still thundery showers tomorrow. Sunny periods and a few showers in the following couple of days.
