Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

Winds are light over the coast of Guangdong. A broad trough of low pressure is bringing showers to the northern part of the South China Sea.

At 10 a.m., Severe Typhoon Soulik was centred about 350 kilometres south-southeast of Jeju. It is forecast to move northwest at about 20 kilometres per hour towards the vicinity of the Korean Peninsula. Meanwhile, Severe Typhoon Cimaron was centred about 1190 kilometres southeast of Kagoshima. It is forecast to move northwest at about 32 kilometres per hour in the general direction of Japan.

Weather forecast for today

Sunny periods and relatively low visibility. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. Light winds.

Outlook : A few showers and sunny intervals in the next couple of days.
