Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

Showers are affecting the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. Besides, the area of low pressure near Taiwan is bringing unsettled weather to the region.

At 8 a.m., Typhoon Soulik was centred about 110 kilometres west-southwest of Jeju. It is forecast to move north or north-northwest at about 12 kilometres per hour towards the vicinity of the Korean Peninsula. Meanwhile, Severe Typhoon Cimaron was centred about 480 kilometres east-southeast of Kagoshima. It is forecast to move north-northwest at about 32 kilometres per hour in the general direction of Japan.

Weather forecast for today

Sunny intervals. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms. The maximum temperature will be about 31 degrees. Light winds.

Outlook : Still some showers in the next few days.
