Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

Showers are affecting the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. Besides, the area of low pressure near Taiwan is bringing unsettled weather to the region.

Severe Typhoon Cimaron has weakened into a typhoon. At 10 a.m., Cimaron was centred about 420 kilometres east-southeast of Kagoshima. It is forecast to move north-northwest at about 32 kilometres per hour towards Japan. Meanwhile, Typhoon Soulik was centred about 100 kilometres west of Jeju. It is forecast to move north or north-northeast at about 12 kilometres per hour towards the vicinity of the Korean Peninsula.
