Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A trough of low pressure is bringing thundery showers to the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. Locally, more than 30 millimetres of rainfall were recorded over Northern District, Yuen Long and Tsuen Wan this morning.

Weather forecast for today

Cloudy to overcast with heavy showers and squally thunderstorms. The maximum temperature will be about 28 degrees. Moderate to fresh south to southwesterly winds, occasionally strong offshore and on high ground.

Outlook : Still heavy showers and squally thunderstorms tomorrow. Showers easing off gradually with sunny intervals in the following couple of days.
