During the past hour the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park was 3. The intensity of UV radiation was moderate.

Gusts reaching 70 kilometres per hour or above may affect Hong Kong.

Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A trough of low pressure is bringing thundery showers to the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. Locally, more than 10 millimetres of rainfall were recorded over parts of the New Territories in the past few hours.

Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight

Cloudy with occasional showers and a few squally thunderstorms. Showers will be heavy at times. Moderate to fresh south to southwesterly winds, occasionally strong offshore.

Outlook : Still heavy showers at first tomorrow. Showers easing off gradually with sunny intervals in the following couple of days.
