Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A trough of low pressure is bringing showers to the coastal areas of Guangdong.

At 8 a.m., Super Typhoon Jebi was centred about 1340 kilometres south of Osaka. It is forecast to move northwest at about 20 kilometres per hour across the western North Pacific.

Weather forecast for today

Mainly cloudy with heavy showers and a few squally thunderstorms. Showers will ease off and there will be sunny intervals later. The maximum temperature will be around 29 degrees. Light to moderate southerly winds.

Outlook : Sunny periods and one or two showers in the next couple of days.
