At 11 a.m. at the Hong Kong Observatory the air temperature was 25 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity 95 per cent.
During the past hour the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park was 2. The intensity of UV radiation was low.

Though rainstorm warning has been cancelled, people should stay alert to the danger that may be brought about by river flooding.

Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A trough of low pressure is bringing showers to the coastal areas of Guangdong.

At 10 a.m., Super Typhoon Jebi was centred about 1320 kilometres south of Osaka. It is forecast to move north-northwest at about 20 kilometres per hour across the western North Pacific.

Weather forecast for today

Mainly cloudy with occasional showers and a few squally thunderstorms. Showers will ease off and there will be sunny intervals later. Light to moderate southerly winds.

Outlook : Sunny periods and one or two showers in the next couple of days.
