Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

An anticyclone aloft is covering southeastern China. Meanwhile, showers are affecting the northern part of the South China Sea.

At 10 a.m., Severe Typhoon Jebi was centred about 900 kilometres south-southwest of Osaka. It is forecast to move north-northwest at about 20 kilometres per hour towards Honshu, Japan.

Weather forecast for today

Sunny periods and a few showers. Isolated thunderstorms at first. Light to moderate south to southwesterly winds.

Outlook : Sunny periods tomorrow. A few showers in the following couple of days.
