Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

An anticyclone aloft is covering southeastern China. Meanwhile, showers are affecting the coastal areas of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea.

At 4 p.m., Severe Typhoon Jebi was centred about 810 kilometres south-southwest of Osaka. It is forecast to move north or north-northwest at about 28 kilometres per hour towards Honshu, Japan.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Mainly cloudy with isolated showers. The minimum temperature will be about 27 degrees. Hot with sunny periods during the day tomorrow. The maximum temperature will be around 32 degrees. Moderate southwesterly winds.

Outlook : Sunny periods on Wednesday. A few showers in the latter part of this week.
