Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

An anticyclone aloft is bringing generally fine weather to the coast of Guangdong.

At 5 a.m., Severe Typhoon Jebi was centred about 420 kilometres south-southwest of Osaka. It is forecast to move north-northeast at about 40 kilometres per hour towards Honshu, Japan.

Weather forecast for today

Mainly fine apart from isolated showers. Hot during the day with a maximum temperature of around 32 degrees. Moderate southwesterly winds.

Outlook : Sunny periods tomorrow. A few showers in the latter part of this week.
