During the past hour the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park was 2. The intensity of UV radiation was low.

Hot weather might cause adverse health effects. The Observatory advises the public to stay on the alert.

Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

An anticyclone aloft is bringing generally fine weather to the coastal areas of Guangdong.

At 8 a.m., Severe Typhoon Jebi was centred about 300 kilometres south-southwest of Osaka. It is forecast to move north-northeast at about 40 kilometres per hour towards Honshu, Japan.

Weather forecast for today

Mainly fine and hot apart from isolated showers. The maximum temperature will be around 32 degrees. Moderate southwesterly winds.

Outlook : Sunny periods tomorrow. A few showers in the latter part of this week.
