During the past hour the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park was 4. The intensity of UV radiation was moderate.

Hot weather might cause adverse health effects. The Observatory advises the public to stay on the alert.

    A southerly airstream is affecting the south China coastal waters. Meanwhile, pressure is rising over the northern part of southern China. The northeast monsoon is expected to reach the coastal areas overnight.
