At 5 p.m. at the Hong Kong Observatory the air temperature was 30 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity 75 per cent.
During the past hour the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park was 0.4. The intensity of UV radiation was low.

Hot weather might cause adverse health effects. The Observatory advises the public to stay on the alert.

Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A cold front over the northern part of southern China is moving southwards gradually and bringing thundery showers to the region. The cold front will move across the coastal areas overnight.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Mainly cloudy with a few showers. Thunderstorms at first. It will be slightly cooler tomorrow. Temperatures will range between 25 and 29 degrees. Light winds, becoming moderate northeasterly winds.

Outlook : A few rain patches and slightly cooler weather on Sunday. Sunny intervals in the following couple of days.
