At 1 a.m. at the Hong Kong Observatory the air temperature was 25 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity 37 per cent.
The northeast monsoon is affecting southern China. Meanwhile, Typhoon Yutu has entered the South China Sea. According to its present forecast track, Yutu will slow down progressively and turn north in the next couple of days.
Depending on the movement of Yutu, the Observatory will consider the need to issue the Standby Signal, No. 1 on Wednesday morning.
