Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The northeast monsoon affected southern China yesterday. A broad band of clouds brought rainy weather to the northern part of the South China Sea and the south China coast. Locally, it was cloudy. There were bright periods in the morning and rain after midday. More than 10 millimetres of rainfall were recorded over most parts of the territory. The monsoon is expected to bring slightly cooler weather to southern China today and tomorrow. Under the influence of the cloud band, there will still be rain over the northern part of the South China Sea and the south China coast today. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Man-yi weakened into an area of low pressure over the western North Pacific yesterday.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Wednesday, 28 Nov 2018)

Cloudy with rain. Rain will ease off later. Slightly cooler with temperatures ranging between 18 and 21 degrees. Moderate northeasterly winds.

Outlook : The weather will improve on Thursday. Temperatures rising in the following few days.
