The cold front now over the northern part of southern China is moving southwards gradually. It is expected to cross the coastal areas overnight.

Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight

Mainly cloudy. Sunny intervals in the afternoon. One or two rain patches later. Moderate easterly winds, strengthening from the north overnight.

Outlook : Becoming cool significantly tomorrow. Temperatures dropping further over the weekend. Cold with rain early next week.

An easterly airstream is affecting the south China coastal waters. The cold front now over the northern part of southern China is moving southwards gradually. It is expected to cross the coastal areas overnight.
