Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A fresh easterly airstream brought one or two rain patches to the coastal areas of Guangdong yesterday morning. Locally, it was mainly cloudy yesterday. There were one or two rain patches in the morning and sunny intervals during the day. Besides, a cold front is moving across the coast of Guangdong. The associated northeast monsoon will affect the region today. The weather will become cool significantly.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Friday, 7 Dec 2018)

Mainly cloudy with one or two rain patches. It will become cool significantly. Temperatures will fall from around 23 degrees at first to a minimum of about 17 degrees. Moderate to fresh north to northeasterly winds, occasionally strong offshore.

Outlook : Temperatures dropping further over the weekend. Cold with rain early next week.
