Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A replenishment of the northeast monsoon brought rather cool weather to Guangdong today. Temperatures over inland areas at night were generally two to three degrees lower than those of yesterday. Locally, it was mainly cloudy, cool in the morning and at night, and there were sunny intervals during the day. Under the influence of the northeast monsoon, it will be cold over southern China in the next couple of days.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Wednesday, 12 Dec 2018)

Mainly cloudy. Rather cool in the morning and at night. The minimum temperature will be about 13 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories. Dry with sunny intervals during the day, the maximum temperature will be around 17 degrees. Moderate to fresh northerly winds, occasionally strong offshore and on high ground at first.

Outlook : Temperatures rising gradually in the following couple of days. Mainly fine over the weekend and early next week.
