Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The northeast monsoon is bringing cold weather to southern China. Temperatures over inland Guangdong stayed around 10 degrees this morning. Locally, the minimum temperature recorded at the Observatory was 14.2 degrees, the lowest so far this winter.

Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight

Mainly cloudy and rather cool. Temperatures will be lower in the New Territories. Dry with sunny intervals in the afternoon. Moderate to fresh northerly winds, occasionally strong offshore and on high ground at first.

Outlook : Still rather cool tomorrow morning. Temperatures rising gradually in the following couple of days. Mainly fine over the weekend and early next week.
