Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The northeast monsoon brought cold weather to southern China yesterday. Temperatures over inland Guangdong stayed around 10 degrees in the afternoon. Locally, there were sunny intervals yesterday. It was rather cool in the morning and at night. Temperatures over the territory at night were generally two to three degrees lower than those of the day before. Under the influence of the northeast monsoon, it will be cold over southern China today.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong

Mainly cloudy. Rather cool in the morning with a minimum temperature of about 13 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories. Dry with bright periods during the day. The maximum temperature will be around 17 degrees. Moderate to fresh northerly winds.

Outlook : Temperatures rising gradually in the following couple of days. Mainly fine over the weekend and early next week.
