Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A warm easterly airstream affected the coast of Guangdong yesterday. Locally, it was cloudy in the morning and at night, and sunny during the day. Temperatures over the territory generally rose to 25 degrees or above. Besides, pressure rose over the northern part of southern China last night. The northeast monsoon is expected to reach the coastal areas today. Temperatures will drop slightly and there will be a few rain patches over the region today and tomorrow.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong

Mainly cloudy with one or two rain patches. Temperatures will linger around 23 degrees with light winds at first. Becoming moderate to fresh north to northeasterly winds. It will become cooler with temperatures over the urban areas falling to about 19 degrees on Sunday night, and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories.

Outlook : Cooler with light rain on Monday. The weather will be brighter over the Christmas holidays. Temperatures falling significantly in the latter part of this week.

    Pressure is rising over the northern part of southern China. The northeast monsoon is expected to reach the south China coastal waters on Sunday.
